The Downtown Penticton Association is the voice of downtown, bringing together residents, merchants, businesses, other not-for-profit social service agencies, arts and cultural groups; governments, educational institutions and other organizations to enhance the economic development and social fabric of downtown.

  • The Downtown Community Market
    Saturday's throughout the summer in the 200 Block of Main
    Street - 8:30am to Noon.
     

In addition to the existing Farmer’s Market on Saturday Morning, The Downtown Penticton Association will be hosting the Saturday Community Market throughout the summer. The 200 block of Main Street will be bustling with shoppers, vendors, and entertainers. This market should prove to be a great way to spend Saturday mornings with friends and family.


  • The 12th Annual Pentastic  Hot Jazz Festival
    September 5th -7th, 2008
    The weekend following Labour Day, Penticton BC hosts three days of
    World Class Jazz
    to entertain and excite music lovers of all ages.

  • Kiddies Day Parade

    The Downtown Penticton Association is now accepting registration forms for the Kiddies Day Parade to take place on Sunday August 10 th. The Parade will start behind the City Centre building on the corner of Wade Avenue and Martin Street and travel down Main Street past Gyro Park into Okanagan Lake Park for Kiddies Day celebrations.

  • The Downtown Penticton Association is ready to roll out “Everything under the Sun” The deadline to participate in the Peachfest Passport has been extended to July 18th.


    We would like to thank the 30 confirmed businesses and are looking for another 30 for this program to run. At $49 this is a terrific advertising opportunity - along with a distribution of 10,000 rack cards, this program also includes radio and print advertising for all participating businesses.
